We are situated in the ideal position for walkers, whether you like short, easy strolls, or longer, more demanding rambles.
From the house there are circular routes varying from 15 minutes to well over an hour, all affording splendid views of this beautiful valley. There are themed walks in the area too, with a poetry walk taking you through local forests, a vineyard walk from a nearby village and a sculpture walk taking you up and over a local hillside.
A little further afield, it is easy to find routes, level or hilly, often with breathtaking views of the Corbières Hills and their surrounding countryside.
Just 20 minutes away is the Canal du Midi, and a walk along its tree-shaded banks from Trèbes is the perfect way to spend a hot day.
For serious long distance walkers, the GR 36 passes within 10 minutes of Taurize.
